About the Impact Convergence Forum
The Impact Convergence Forum for Private Equity (ICF) is a collaborative conversation group of firms with private equity impact strategies seeking to encourage convergence in impact measurement and management practices among LPs & GPs, ensuring high-integrity practice while enabling better decision-making.
Purpose

-
Address Shared Challenges: Collaborate to tackle common issues in deploying private capital for impact at scale, testing new methodologies and adopting best practices; and
-
Empower Practitioners: Provide a platform for peer learning and partnerships, supporting both established and new impact investors in scaling impact with integrity.
Current
Focus
For 2025, ICF has partnered with Project Frame and the World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD) to form an Avoided Emissions Methodology Working Group to build more integrated guidance and resources so that investors and companies—across asset class, maturity, or industries—can identify and align on best practices for assessing and reporting expected and realized avoided emissions.

We anticipate the release of a publication from this working group in Summer 2025.
