ICF is currently evaluating priority areas for future collaborative working groups aimed at advancing consensus and convergence of impact measurement practices within Private Equity. PRACTICAL TOOLS & TEMPLATES. Develop and align on a standardized set of Impact Due Diligence Questions (DDQs) for LPs and Impact Reporting Templates (XLS) for GPs with a common data architecture and list of core metrics across impact themes.

AVOIDED EMISSIONS. Build off of the Project Frame/WBCSD collaboration to explore further opportunities for consistent avoided emissions calculation methodologies to improve comparability, aggregation, and credibility of avoided emissions reporting across portfolios.

CIRCULARITY METRICS. Assess current tools and guidance for measuring circularity, particularly for solution providers that enable circular outcomes for others.

IMPACT VALUATION. Explore alignment on approaches to valuing impact, potentially in collaboration with existing initiatives such as the Impact Valuation Hub.

HEALTHCARE BREADTH METRICS. Explore potential for further alignment and convergence of a core set of scale-related metrics in healthcare to support comparability and aggregation across investments.

FINANCIAL INCLUSION BREADTH METRICS. Advance agreement on shared metrics to assess reach and scale in financial inclusion, enabling improved consistency across investor reporting.

COMMON IMPACT TAXONOMY. Evaluate the potential for a shared taxonomy to structure and classify impact across sectors, geographies, and asset classes.

VALUE CHAIN IMPACT ATTRIBUTION. Assess the methodological landscape and potential for a common framework for attributing impact across value chains, supporting more coherent and comparable reporting and avoiding double-counting of impact.
